Moving Day Specifics:

  • Vehicle Selection: Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate van, though guidance is available upon request.
  • Packing: Packing of items is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
  • Parking: Customers must manage and pay for parking arrangements necessary for service provision.
  • Appliances: Customers are responsible for the disconnection and installation of appliances.
  • Furniture: Dismantling and reassembly of furniture is the customer’s responsibility, with additional services available upon request.
  • Driver Respect: Abuse towards drivers is not tolerated and may result in service termination.
  • Additional Costs: Costs such as ferry fees and stair carries are the customer’s responsibility.

Cancellations and Amendments:

  • Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the scheduled job.
  • Charges apply for cancellations made within 72 to 10 hours before the job, up to the total job value for cancellations less than 10 hours before.
  • Booking amendments require a 24-hour notice, with a fee for last-minute changes.

Disputes:

  • Disputes must be submitted in writing directly to Hello Vans. Our platform’s role as an intermediary means we are not liable for claims arising from the service provided.

Payments:

  • Payment is due upon completion of services, with options for cash, card, or bank transfer. Non-payment may result in legal action and adverse effects on your credit rating.

Feedback:

  • Feedback is encouraged for each completed service to help maintain and improve service quality. Misuse of the feedback system will be addressed appropriately.

Insurance:

  • We operate under our parent company, Hello Services Ltd, which holds public liability insurance, employers’ liability insurance, and moving services insurance. While we do not directly employ moversโ€”who operate as independent, self-employed professionalsโ€”each mover is required to hold their own valid moving services insurance. This ensures that your move is covered by the individual service provider, and in the rare event of a serious issue, we will step in to cover any proven damage resulting from the move
