At Hello Vans (a trading name of Hello Services Ltd), we value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal data. Hello Services Ltd is the controller and responsible for your personal data.

We collect and process personal data only when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

  • Service Partners: Freelance drivers, independent movers, and logistics partners who require your name and address to complete your booking.
  • Service Providers: Third-party processors providing IT and administration services, and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe) to securely process transactions.
  • Professional Advisers: Including lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers.
  • Legal Authorities: HM Revenue & Customs and other regulatory authorities based in the UK.

4. International Data Transfers

While we are UK-based, some of our service providers may operate outside the UK. If personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the specific safeguards approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is implemented.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
