Do your quotes cover the congestion charge zone?
No, unfortunately they don’t, if you go inside or through the congestion charge zone there will be an additional cost of £11.5 added to your quote. and some van. Depending on the type of van you request, there may be Ultra Low Emission Zone charge added to your bill.

No, unfortunately they don’t, if your journey passes a toll charge, this will be added to the quote.

What is your availability like?
If you see prices on the quote page, then it means the driver has availability for the time and date chosen.

What is the minimum booking?
There is two hours minimum booking for all jobs.

How does the parking works and who’s responsible for parking?
You as a customer is responsible for a parking space for the vehicle you have ordered, any parking fees paid by the driver will be added to the bill and a receipt of the parking will be provided by the driver.

How do I get booking confirmation?
Once the booking confirmed then you will get email notification confirming the booking, we might have to text you booking confirmation to your number as well.

How do I get a receipt?

Can I have a stopover between the pickup and drop off location?
Yes, you can have as many drops of and pick up locations as you like, You do need to mention them before booking by clicking on waypoint.

Can we rely on you that you will be on time?
All of our service providers do their best to be on time. In the unlikely event your vehicle is delayed you will be contacted and kept up to date with an estimated time of arrival.

Can I/we travel in the van/truck to the destination?
Yes, most of the vans are 3 seaters so if you have ordered just the driver then two customers can travel in the van. However its still up to the driver to decide how many passengers can travel in the van or if any passengers can travel in the van. We always recommend you to contact the driver before the moving date/time to confirm this.

Will there be any additional charges on the moving day?
There won’t be any extra cost if the move remains as described, the only additional cost you should expect is if the job takes longer which would be extra charge for every half an hour.

How soon should I book a van?
We advise all customers to book their move as soon as you can. However as soon as the job is booked then the crew is notified by automated text and email so they can prepare for the move.

Can you provide more men if required on the day of my move?
its customer’s responsibility to book enough movers on the moving day. However, you can still change the numbers of movers you need by speaking to the service provider directly.

Yes, you can book as many trips as you like, to book a return journey you need to book another move on the website or book it directly with the service provider.

Will my items be respected on the moving day?
All service providers on Hellovans.com are experienced in the moving industry, all your belongings will be carried with the most respectful manner, the service providers wont just respect your items, they will respect you as well. All crews come with clean vans and all moving equipment.

Do I need to be there on the moving day?
You don’t personally have to be there on the day, but the service providers will need friends or family member over the age of 18 to let them in to the pick up and destination address and also to guide the service provider what is moving and what is not.

Will I have to sign any document?
Any document to be signed is down to the service providers, some service providers will have documents to sign and some wont.

What should I expect the service provider?
You should expect the service providers to be polite, helpful. If loading and unloading is ordered they will take care of all the lifting, packing and unpacking.

Yes, all vans come with a driver, this is not a self-drive platform.

Yes, you can, as long as you allow 24 hours’ notice then you can make changes to your booking.

Yes, you can, if you cancel 24 hours before the moving date then you will receive a full refund, if you cancel within 24 hours of the moving date please look at our cancelation policy for details.

Can I Request packing materials such as moving boxes?
Yes, you can do this directly with the service provider. After you have booked the service then you can contact the service provider if you need packing materials.

Do the service provider dismantle and reassemble items?
Yes, Service providers come fully equipped and provide with dismantling and reassembling furniture and other items. Note: Most of the service providers are not permitted to disconnect or reconnect white goods such as Washing machine, Cooker.

While most of the service providers are not Piano moving specialist. Some service providers can move upright pianos, but we strongly recommend you request 3 movers when booking if you have a piano to move.
